Being a mom is one of the most rewarding jobs, but it can also be incredibly challenging. 
On those tough days, you might know that you should pray and open your Bible, but maybe you don’t even know where to begin.
These 10 Bible verses are a great place to start. You might read one today, and it speaks to you. Then tomorrow, another one takes on a whole new meaning in your life.
This is the power of Scripture. It is active and present in our lives! 
 So, lil’ mumma, open up your Bible to these verses and get a little extra strength and encouragement from Your Father.
1. Isaiah 40:31
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Motherhood can be exhausting, but this verse promises that when you put your hope in the Lord, He will renew your strength. You might feel like you’re running on empty, but God will lift you up and give you the energy you need.
2. Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
On those days when everything seems to be going wrong, remember that God is your refuge – your safe place. He is always there to help you, no matter what you’re facing. You can find comfort and strength in His presence.
3. Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Jesus invites you to come to Him with your burdens. When you’re feeling tired and weighed down by the responsibilities of motherhood, He promises to give you rest. Trust in His gentle and humble heart to find peace.
4. 2 Timothy 1:7 
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
Remember, God has equipped you with everything you need. You have the power, love, and a sound mind to handle any challenge. Embrace these gifts and face your day with confidence and courage.
5. Psalm 4:1 
“Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.”
When you’re feeling overwhelmed, call out to God. He hears your prayers and will give you relief from your distress. Trust in His mercy and know that He is always there to comfort and guide you.
6. Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you; protect you, sustain you, and guard you. The Lord make His face shine upon you with favor, and be gracious to you, surrounding you with lovingkindness. The Lord lift up His face upon you with divine approval and give you peace, a tranquil heart and life.”
These beautiful verses remind you of God’s blessings and protection. He sustains and guards you, shining His favor upon you with grace and lovingkindness. Let His peace fill your heart and life, knowing you are held in His loving care.
7. 1 Peter 5:7
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
God cares deeply about you and your worries. When anxiety and stress start to take over, cast your cares on Him. He is there to support you and carry your burdens.
8. 2 Corinthians 12:9
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
It’s okay to admit that you’re struggling. In fact, it’s in your weakness that Christ’s power shines the brightest. His grace is enough to carry you through your hardest days.
9. Lamentations 3:22-23
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Every day is a new opportunity. No matter how tough yesterday was, God’s mercies are new every morning. His love and compassion are unfailing, giving you a fresh start each day.
10. Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God commands you to be strong and courageous. You don’t need to be afraid or discouraged because He is with you, guiding and supporting you through every challenge.
